Role Types

There are three different types of roles in Carbonhound. Each one has a different set of permissions.

1. Admin

As an admin you have access to all company details, settings, and data.

  • Adding & Modifying Sources

2. Employee

3. Service

A service role is someone who audits your data but cannot add or modify it. They will have access to all of your companies entries but will not be able to modify anything.

  1. Data Manager

A data manager has similar permissions to the service role, but can add and modify data. This user will not have access to My Company and other admin level functions, but will be able to view, access, and modify Locations, Sources, Business Units, and Collections, as well as generate reports.
