If you need a new factor in order to accurately map your carbon footprint submit a request and we’ll add it for you. In order to request an emission factor we will need a few items from you:
Emission Factor Name
Emission Factor with Unit
Make sure you include the units and the gas type i.e. 12 kg CO2e/L or 12 kg C02/L, 112g N20/L, 100g CH4/L
Please be as specific as possible with granular details (i.e., office copy paper —> is it 30% recycled paper?)
Valid to-from date
Emission factors can change over time, enter the date range applicable, i.e. 01/01/2019 - present or 01/01/2020-12/31/2021
Emission factor source
Paste the URL of the source where you found this factor and any description if necessary
In order to add your emissions in we need to have the source where you pulled the emission factor from.
Requesting a custom emission factor
Click "Help" button in menu
Click "Request" under request new emission factor section
Complete the form with all of the previous mentioned criteria
Submit the form
We will process your request and add it into our system and notify you when it is complete.
Alternate way of requesting a custom emission factor
Use this form to submit your customer request which will require the same information as above
