Data completeness report

Your data completeness report will help you get a handle on any data issues that may be in your inventory.

Creating New

  1. Navigate to the Audit tab in the app then go to "Audit Reports"

  2. Click “Create report” and select the time preiod for the report

  3. Your file will show in the table below

Reviewing the file

  1. Location → Includes any location tagged or associated to that source

  2. Source name → Source name or nickname that you have assigned

  3. Source id → the app’s internal unique identification for that source

  4. Source URL → Allows you to access the source to view your data in the app

  5. Description → Your source’s description

  6. Data issue type - There are multiple types of data issues that we flag, note that there will be a Gap, Duplicate and Overlap check line item for each source to show that the system has reviewed it.

    1. Gap - Identifies missing data between two periods in time, when there are multiple they will be listed on multiple rows, one for each gap identified

    1. Potential duplicate - System thinks that these may be duplicates, ensure to check them! We will give you the date range for those to review them in the app

    1. Overlapping data - Some of your items are overlapping, sometimes this is normal with certain providers but other times this can be an issue

  7. Status

    1. Found → System flagged an issue,

      1. The system will tell you how many items it found i.e. “Found 2” is found 2 items.

      1. It will list them in order and create a new line for each error found (1/2), (2/2) etc

      1. In some cases where the number of lines is too high (i.e. over 1000) then it will just list the total number of errors found for that row and not create a new line item for each error

    1. No Issues found → System did not find an issue but checked for this issue type

  8. Start Date / End date

    1. Time period where the issue arose

  9. Number of days (# of days)

    1. For overlap type - # of days the items are overlapping, some utility providers always have 1 day overlaps

    1. For Data gap type - # of days there are gaps in the data

    1. For duplicates - # number of days that the data overlaps

  10. Activity and units

    1. Gives you more details on the overlapping items

  11. Comments

    1. For you and your team to work to leave notes for each other

  12. Impacted items list

    1. App IDs that can be used with customers service if needed
