A data import allows you to mass import your data via a '.csv' file. There are two places within the application that you can bulk upload data from:
Data Import page
Individual sources
Bulk Uploading Data from the Data Imports Page
In the top right corner click the dropdown that says your company name and your name
Click into the Data Imports option on the menu
While on the data imports page Click the "New Import" button
Select which type of activity you are uploading
Depending on which type you select you will have to format your data differently
Currently you can only bulk upload data for one individual location at a time. So if you select office energy you will have to select a location to assign the data to.
Download the '.csv' template and populate it with your data in the assigned format
Upload the completed file
Click Next
We will then begin processing your data, depending on the size of the file this could take up to 10 minutes. You can navigate away from the process at any point and we will save your progress.
Once your data has been processed you will have to review any missing/error fields within the import.
If there are errors in your import you will see the line that has the error and why we couldn't process that line. Usually it is because it is an empty line.
If you have missing data items, your next step will be to update the missing data
Click "Update missing data"
Click "Update" on the line item with missing data
Input the missing fields
Continue these steps until all of your missing data items have been updated
Your data upload is complete, and you will now start to see your data populate throughout the app.
To/From Address Data Imports
If your source has data that has been saved as a start address and end address you can select the to/from template within the first step of the importer. The source you want to upload against must have a distance emission factor to be able to enter data as to/from.

Navigate to the source you wish to import data for in the "Sources" tab
Download the '.csv' template and populate it with your data in the assigned format
